Just got this in an E-mail....
Ginger has arranged a special one-off gig to celebrate his
birthday. He'll be playing at the Marquee Club in London (1
Leicester Square) on December 17th. The band will be completed
by Willy Dowling, Rich Battersby and Random Jon Poole. There
will be no support act, instead the band will be playing two

Nahhh, the green was meant to convey my all-encompassing jealousy that I can't see ANY of the Wildhearts winter tour, AND that I couldn't see the WH/Therapy?/Glitterati tour earlier this year, or Ginger's birthday show, etc etc etc.

Missed out on the acoustic gig a few years back and sure don't want to miss this one off!!!

Any one any thoughts as to if it is worth getting a hotel in London for the night? We're going down on the friday morning, and returnin on the Saturday. Is the underground safe to use at night these days? or is it better(although expensive) to use a taxi? Thinking of driving down and gettin a hotel just outside London. [img]wink.gif[/img]
Yeah, the underground is safe, the last tube trains are around 12.30. Bus services take longer but many routes run all night, and the bus is a lot cheaper. ?1 flat fee anywhere or ?2.50 for an all-day ticket which lasts until 4.30am.
